Stuart Feinstein, MD, FAAP
Stuart Feinstein, M.D., F.A.A.P. is a graduate of the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center. He completed his internship and residency at the Schneider Children’s Hospital of the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Feinstein has been in pediatric practice since 1986 at this present location. He is a member of the Academy of Pediatrics, the Nassau Pediatric Society, the Nassau County Medical Society, and the New York State Medical Society. Dr. Feinstein is a Diplomate of the American Board of Bariatric Physicians, specializing in weight loss management.

Sharon M Perlman, D.O.
Sharon Perlman, D.O. is a graduate of the Maimonides Medical Center Pediatric Residency Program, and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Perlman is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Osteopathic Pediatricians. Practicing with Dr. Feinstein since 2003, Dr. Perlman balances out Kids Care Pediatrics.

Warren Silberstein, MD, FAAP
Warren Silberstein, MD is a Board Certified Pediatrician practicing in Lynbrook, NY since 1980. He did his undergraduate studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated from S.U.N.Y., Downstate Medical College in 1974. He did his Pediatric Residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. Dr. Silberstein joined the Kids Care family in 2012.
Dr. Warren is married and has 3 children. His favorite thing to do in his spare time is to play with his GrandQuads (quadruplet grandchildren). He is also sings, plays guitar & piano, bakes great cookies (will share recipes), and enjoys photography
He is the author of Helping Your Child Grow Slim, Simon & Schuster, 1982.

Kathleen DeVarso, CPNP
Kathleen is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practioner with over 12 years of experience in a Pediatric Primary setting. She received her Masters of Science degree in Nursing as a PNP from Molloy College in May 1998. Kathleen is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurses. We are proud to have her join Kids Care.

Cynthia Hyacinthe, PNP
CJH PictureCynthia is a Pediatric Nurse Practioner with over 20 years of experience in a Pediatric Primary setting. She received her Masters of Science degree in Nursing as a PNP from Molloy College in May 1998; and recently joins us after working at PM Peds and St Mary’s Hospital. We are proud to have her join us here at Kids Care.

Maria Murray, RD, C.D.N
Nutritional support is the mainstay of any weight loss and maintenance program. You will meet in consultation with our Nutritionist, Maria Murray, RD, C.D.N.; to discuss your current status, and then together, a nutritional plan will be created. Diet plans can include complete meal replacements, partial meal replacements, high protein/low calorie plans, low and very low calorie plans, as well as maintenance strategies. All of these approaches will be customized for your needs.
Grace Luk, MDDr. Luk is a third year resident from the Cohen's Children's Medical Center Pediatric Program. She is due to graduate this June, and will be joining our practice in July. She has been joining us on Thursday mornings during her residency, and we are all excited about her coming on full time.

After you are discharged from the hospital, you must call us at 516-775-0493 (Elmont) or 516-599-6230 (Lynbrook) to make a follow-up appointment for your newborn or child.
Please be aware that:
Mercy Medical Center does not have inpatient Pediatrics. Therefore, if you go there as an emergency, and need to be admitted, you will be transferred to Winthrop University Hospital.
Franklin Medical Center (now called Northwell Health @ Valley Stream) in Valley Stream also does not have inpatient Pediatrics. Therefore, if you go there as an emergency, and need to be admitted, you will be transferred to Long Island Jewish-Cohen’s Childrens Medical Center.
